Nonperturbative renormalization of the lattice Sommerfield vector model

چکیده
The lattice Sommerfield model, describing a massive vector gauge field coupled to light fermion in 2d, is an ideal candidate verify perturbative conclusions. In contrast with continuum exact solutions, we prove that there no infinite renormalization, implying the reduction of degree ultraviolet divergence, and anomalies are non renormalized. Such features counterpart analogue properties at basis Standard model renormalizability. results non-perturbative, sense averages invariant observables expressed terms convergent expansions uniformly volume.

Composite Operators in Lattice Qcd: Nonperturbative Renormalization †
We investigate the nonperturbative renormalization of composite operators in lattice QCD restricting ourselves to operators that are bilinear in the quark fields. These include operators which are relevant to the calculation of moments of hadronic structure functions. The computations are based on Monte Carlo simulations using quenched Wilson fermions.
متن کاملAn Introduction to the Nonperturbative Renormalization Group
An elementary introduction to the non-perturbative renormalization group is presented mainly in the context of statistical mechanics. No prior knowledge of field theory is necessary. The aim is this article is not to give an extensive overview of the subject but rather to insist on conceptual aspects and to explain in detail the main technical steps. It should be taken as an introduction to mor...
متن کاملNonperturbative Renormalization and the QCD Vacuum
We present a self consistent approach to Coulomb gauge Hamiltonian QCD which allows one to relate single gluon spectral properties to the long range behavior of the confining interaction. Nonperturbative renormalization is discussed. The numerical results are in good agreement with phenomenological and lattice forms of the static potential. Typeset using REVTEX 1
متن کاملNonperturbative renormalization in a scalar model within Light-Front Dynamics
Within the covariant formulation of Light-Front Dynamics, in a scalar model with the interaction Hamiltonian H = −gψ2(x)φ(x), we calculate nonperturbatively the renormalized state vector of a scalar ”nucleon” in a truncated Fock space containing the N , Nπ and Nππ sectors. The model gives a simple example of nonperturbative renormalization which is carried out numerically. Though the mass renor...
